Description

The HDT-WiFi-T sensor measures the temperature of the environment in which it is situated and is typically accurate to ±0.3°C / ±0.6°F (+5°C to +60°C / +41°F to +140°F).

It is ideal for a wide variety of applications, particularly where remote monitoring is important, including: environmental and weather monitoring, agricultural and livestock, food and drink, building and site monitoring and HVAC.

Data is streamed wirelessly over any WiFi network and can be viewed on a PC using the free EasyLog WiFi software (available for download using the link below) or on the EasyLog Cloud.

During configuration the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst physically connected to the PC. It can then be placed anywhere within range of the network. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or EasyLog Cloud (max 30 days at 10 second sample interval). The range of the sensor can be increased by using WiFi extenders.

The battery can be recharged via a PC using the USB cable provided or via a USB +5V wall adapter (not included).

The EasyLog WiFi software will allow set-up, data logging and data review. Set-up features include sensor name, °C/°F, sample rate, and high/low alarms. Once configured, historical data can be viewed via the graphing tool or exported into Microsoft Excel.

The sensor is IEEE 802.11bgn (2.4GHz) compliant (MAC Address starting 98:8B:AD:2 only), supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption and enterprise networks (PEAP, TTLS, FAST).

The sensor has a protection rating of IP55. The unit is freestanding, but can be attached to a wall or surface using the bracket provided.
