The HDT-WiFi-TP and HDT-WiFi-TP-PLUS sensors measure the temperature of the environment in which the probe is situated.

The HDT-WiFi-TP is typically accurate to ±0.75°C / ±1.5°F (-15°C to +70°C / +5°F to +158°F) and is supplied with a removable 1 metre thermistor probe.

The HDT-WiFi-TP-PLUS is typically accurate to ±0.2°C / ±0.4°F (-15°C to +80°C / +5°F to +176°F) and is supplied with a removable 3 metre thermistor probe.

Data is streamed wirelessly over any WiFi network and can be viewed on a PC using the free EasyLog WiFi software (available for download using the link below) or on the EasyLog Cloud.

During configuration the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst physically connected to the PC. It can then be placed anywhere within range of the network. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or EasyLog Cloud (max 30 days at 10 second sample interval). The range of the sensor can be increased by using WiFi extenders.

The battery can be recharged via a PC using the USB cable provided or via a USB +5V wall adapter (available separately).

The EasyLog WiFi software will allow set-up, data logging and data review. Set-up features will include sensor name, °C/°F, sample rate, and high/low alarms. Once configured, historic data can be viewed via the graphing tool or exported to Microsoft Excel.

The sensors are IEEE 802.11bgn (2.4GHz) compliant (MAC Address starting 98:8B:AD:2 only), supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption and enterprise networks (PEAP, TTLS, FAST).

Both sensors have a protection rating of IP43 and the probes have a protection rating of IP67.

The sensors are freestanding, but can be attached to a wall or surface using the bracket supplied.

The probes are supplied with an attachment so they can be securely fixed to flat surfaces and can be used in a wide range of temperature situations e.g. manufacturing processes, cold storage and hot storage.
