The WIKA IPT-20 and IPT-21 are high-performance industrial process transmitters featuring welded metallic measuring cells, multi-protocol communication (4-20 mA HART®, PROFIBUS® PA, or FOUNDATION Fieldbus™), safety ratings up to SIL 2 (SIL 3), and optional global hazardous area approvals (ATEX/IECEx intrinsic safety or flameproof enclosures).

The core difference between the two models is their process interface: the IPT-20 utilizes a standard threaded pressure connection for clean media, gases, and high-pressure lines in heavy-duty applications such as chemical processing and oil and gas, whereas the IPT-21 features a flush diaphragm design to eliminate dead spaces, preventing build-up when measuring viscous, crystallizing, or sanitary fluids in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing.
