These small tipped rugged sensors are normally installed into bearings to provide an early warning of overheating. Available as a simplex (3.2mm Ø x 8.0mm long tip) or duplex (4.0mm Ø x 9mm long tip). The tips can be supplied in Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze for increased sensitivity. Pt100 sensors are supplied to grade A tolerance as standard.

To stop oil seepage the assemblies can be custom manufactured with an oil seal feedthrough. This seal is pressure tested to a pressure of 5 bar which is held for a minimum of 1 hour. The sensors are suitable for use in temperatures -50°C and 250°C.

Oil seal feedthroughs are pressure to a minimum of 5 Bar for at least 1 hour.
