Threaded thermowells are machined from 316 Stainless Steel solid barstock and supplied with a male thread (c/w hexagon) which screws into the process. Stems of the wells are supplied machined as standard from solid 316 stainless steel barstock for lengths up to 500mm. For longer lengths they may be of a fabricated construction - this will be made clear at quotation stage. Tapered stems, which offer greater physical strength, can be supplied. Every Thermowell is internally pressure tested to a minimum of 3000 psi. Test certificates and alternative materials are available upon request.
