The PyroCouple sensors are high quality, low cost compact sensors which measure the temperature of inaccessible or moving objects and materials. They measure temperatures from -20 to 500ºC, accurately and consistently, with an outstanding response time of 240ms. The 4-wire sensor transmits as a Type K thermocouple, plus the internal sensor as a 4~20mA. This second output will monitor the ambient temperature around the sensor and can be used to ensure the unit is being operated at the correct temperature and therefore prevent damage by overheating. Supplied as standard with a 15:1 field of view. 30:1 is also available if required.
