The trapped person alarm kit allows personnel trapped inside a cold store to call for help by pressing an emergency button inside the cold room, which activates the audible signal and warning light on the control panel, mounted outside the cold room. There are two main components to the kit:

Control Unit and Battery Backup: To be installed outside the cold room; This bright yellow and black enclosure is fitted with an audible siren and flashing light to signal when an alarm has been raised. The battery backup ensures that the system still functions, even in the event of mains power loss or blackouts. The control unit also offers the facility to connect a remote alarm and siren, mounted away from the control box area, e.g. in a monitoring office or alarm panel.

Emergency Button: Installed inside the cold room, made up of a red mushroom-head push-button with light, housed in a robust, yellow sealed enclosure. The LED on the mushroom-head is on at all times, so the button can be identified and located, even in the dark!

The only additional equipment needed when installing is the interconnection cable (4 core silicone recommended) between control unit and emergency button. Please contact sales for details, specifying length.
